Mar. 13–The cold air in the Mid-Columbia has set two records at Hanford this week, according to the Hanford Meteorological Station.
Wednesday the temperature fell to 19 degrees at Hanford, a record low for the date. On Tuesday the high temperature was only 34 degrees, the lowest high temperature on record for the date.

WHATCOM — Don’t expect a reprieve from this wickedly cold weather any time soon.Temperatures are not expected to climb above freezing again until Monday at the earliest, according to the National Weather Service.
If the forecast holds true, this will be the longest stretch of cold weather since 1990.
