…Johnson said it is uncommon but not unheard of for Amarillo to receive snow in October. The average amount of snow received in October sits at at about .3 inches.

She said today’s amount breaks the record for amount of snow received on Oct. 27., which was previously set at 2.4 in 1911…

    o.k. I will try to explain this on a level even you can understand: Global warming melts holes in the ozone layer. When winter comes the ozone layer is unable to provide adequate insulation, thus we are colder. Like if something got to hot in your house and melted holes in the wall, you would be to cold when winter came. Get it ???
