Winter Wonder: San Francisco Sees First Snow in 35 Years

Yet another usually snow-free area has been visited by Jack Frost this winter.

High elevations in San Francisco saw dusting of snow late Friday, marking the first time flakes have fallen since 1976.

    I was in the Bay Area for this! The “dusting” was actually nothing more than a few flakes on Twin Peaks that didn’t stick. It never got below the upper 30s at night, and it still reached the low 50s during the day. For here, it was cold, but even Dallas had temps in the teens with serious snow accumulations in January. By comparison, this was literally a non-event that left everyone disappointed from the massive hype.
