An unusually heavy, late-season snowstorm will spread blizzard conditions from eastern Colorado to southwestern Kansas and as far south as the northern Texas Panhandle today.
Up to 2 feet of snow and strong winds will pummel some areas, threatening lives and livestock and closing roads and schools for days.
