On the first day of spring it was shivering cold in Sydney, with the city experiencing its coldest September morning in 17 years.
…This makes it the coldest morning of the year, and the coldest start to spring in 45 years.
…Both Canberra Airport and Goulburn also experienced their coldest September nights on records, plummetting to -6.8 degrees and -7.4 degrees respectively.
